The Batrop Ind. School district is located approximately 30 miles southeast of Austin in the picturesque Lost Pines of Central Texas. The district boundary covers an area of 433 square miles and includes the communities of Bastrop, Cedar Creek, Red Rock, Rockne, Paige and vast rural areas of Bastrop County.
Del Valle ISD is located in Southeast Travis County and serves the communities of Austin, Garfield, Creedmoor, Mustang Ridge, Elroy, Pilot Knob, Webberville, and Hornsby Bend. Del Valle ISD serves over 11,000 students on 15 campuses and works to do "Whatever It Takes" for students alongside their parents and the community. Del Valle ISD is located near the Austin Int. airport.
Dripping Springs ISD is just 15 miles west of Austin. The district serves northwestern Hays and Travis County. Approximately 4,400 students are served at the district’s 5 schools. Their campuses consist of 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. Teachers in the district have an average of 11 years teaching experience and over 20% have a master’s degree or higher. Dripping Springs ISD schools are the core of the Dripping Springs community.
Georgetown ISD is located app. 30 miles north of Austin, TX. Georgetown has repeatedly been voted one of the best places to live in the United States by several surveys including CNN Money. The town of Georgetown has a population of app. 50,000 people. It has fabulous shopping, a beautiful town square, and great restaurants.
Hutto ISD is located north and east of Austin, TX., in Hutto, TX. To get to Hutto, go out east on Hwy. 79 from Round Rock about 8 miles. Hutto is a booming little area with new businesses and stores popping up everywhere.
The Lake Travis ISD comprises an area about 20 miles west of Austin obviously near beautiful Lake Travis. Although most probably know them from their outstanding achievements in sports, they are also very well known for their academics as well.
The Leander ISD encompasses a very large area (more than 200 square miles) including the City of Leander as well as The City of Cedar Park, The Village at Volente, and the area around the southern shore of Lake Travis. It is one of the fastest growing school districts in the state. Current enrollment is over 32,000 students at 37 campuses.
Liberty Hill ISD is located app. 25 miles north of Austin in Liberty Hill,TX. Liberty Hill is a rural area where most homeowners live on acreage type home sites. The schools and parents are pretty tough here in making sure students adhere to strict old-fashioned learning and guidance. Academics as well as sports is a big deal for this little community.
Pflugerville ISD is a fast-growing district located in Northeast Travis County. The District encompasses approximately ninety-five square miles and includes all or part of six municipalities including Pflugerville, Austin, Coupland, Hutto, Manor and Round Rock. Pflugerville is app. 10 miles north of Austin, TX.
Round Rock ISD is located in southern Williamson County and northwest Travis County and includes the City of Round Rock and portions of the City of Austin and the City of Cedar Park. The area covers 110 square miles encompassing high tech manufacturing and urban retail centers, suburban neighborhoods, and farm and ranch land.
Wimberley ISD is located about an hour south and west of Austin, TX., near Canyon Lake. Wimberley ISD campuses consist of two elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Academics as well as sports are strongly encouraged.
