Austin Sports Affiliations
 The University of Texas Longhorns have an amazing athletics department. Men's and Women's sports are nationally ranked year after year whether it be football,baseball,basketball,softball,swimming and diving, tennis, golf, soccer, volleyball, or track and field. The University of Texas has claimed 47 team championships dating back to 1949, experienced unparalleled success on conference competition, and accounted for 19 medals at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
 The Round Rock Express is a minor league baseball franchise, they play in the Pacific Coast League as the Class AAA affiliate of the Houston Astros. Its home stadium is the Dell Diamond. The Express ownership group is led by (and the team is named after) Hall of Fame pitcher and Texas native Nolan Ryan.
 The Lonestar Rollergirls are local favorite daughters as well as a hearty entertainment staple, perfectly blending the “Keep Austin Weird” attitude with a free-wheeling pursuit of fun and competition, with rocking local music thrown in for good measure.Roller Derby, Texas-style was founded in 2001 in Austin,Texas by She-EOs Anya Jack, April Herman, Heather Burdick and Nancy Lynn, TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls was started with a vision of outrageous production value and fabulous women on skates.
 The Austin Wranglers portray Arena Football at its finest. Thier mission statement : "To serve our community with pride and passion as a quality example of individual and team excellence on the field, in the office, at the arena and within the community by consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations by demonstrating the highest character, appreciation and respect for our game, customers, teammates and partners as a cost-effective and visionary organization providing a total entertainment experience.”
 The Austin Lonestars Rugby Football Club is a Division III rugby team and a member of USA Rugby and Texas Rugby Union. We are an openly diverse team and it is our policy not to discriminate regarding skill level, race, or sexual orientation. It is our mission to teach men the game of rugby and to bridge the gap between various communities. We are always accepting new players.
